The next step in young players' journeys after Rookie Ball, the Farm Baseball division introduces the concepts of balls and strikes, player pitching, an active catcher role, and nine on the field. Players may strike out or be put out. No scores or statistics are kept, however, and coaches still umpire their own games.
The primary goals at the Farm division are similar to Rookie and Tee Ball; to instruct children on fundamentals through fun games, and for them to experience the value of being part of a team.
